Nice catch! You go with the flow like that, it may catch part of good moves.
For getting earlier annotations around turns I've some comments below:
For #18 I wonder where is BM Rev and do you use visual BMs? PP4 may be considered 2 levels on IV, P1/T1, so would #19 then become another T1?
Actually, initial BM starts at the EE but my understanding is that BM gets moved to P1 bars as they appear. The way I dealt with this bar was, T1 on the up move then BoT1, split the volume as a P1 on the down move due to EE. Basically, I have a P1 with smaller volume (FS) on 18 due to split and another P1 on 19 on IV, although bar 18 had higher volume in total. I do not know if my method is correct but it worked for me in this case.
For #24 the trend proceeds a bit further until P1 Assigned and FTT on DV. Of course hard to catch in realtime, but measure PRV and perhaps compare to context, even leave some wiggle room?
#23 was the EE but the bar closed at the bottom and momentum on smaller fractal still needed to be watched before reversing (the way I see the market at this time). The P1 got assigned on bar 23 but the "wall" Jack refers to wasn't there yet, so I waited until that appeared to reverse during bar 24. Was actually a bit late on the reversal rather than early.
#26 is then maybe not PP6 when #24 is P1 Assigned as per price geometry.
Perhaps. But, I considered bar 24 as a T1 because peaking volume was at 23 and considered the last push down on 24 as an extension of bar 23. Bar 24 then made an up move on decreased volume so I marked it T1. Market doesn't know we use 5m bars so EE to me is either, 1) be alert for signs of turns watching PRV, YM and DOM when PRV tells me EE is possible, 2) change already happened (FS event perhaps).
#6 I geometrically see as P1 too, which leads to more interesting development of FF Bands. Annotations here could prove educational.
I actually took a short here too (literally 2 ticks from top) but chickened out after few ticks as I'm still getting over some trauma on reversing top of the day.
#13 P1 is also interesting for further annotations, though #16-17 gets a bit confusing.
Bar 13 to be honest, was a P1 to me but it seemed confusing to me at the time. FS reversal seemed possible watching the YM but maybe it will have another P1 or T1? When in doubt I just stay sidelined.
I like how you use early moves to go with flow though. Could always prove useful to get in the stream and something to keep in mind.
