You can use NinjaTrader for FREE and connect it to your Interactive Brokers account. It also comes with FREE EOD data from Kinetick, that has split adjusted data.

cannot complain.
When we first started trading, we go for cheap free things to reduce overhead.


But after that, you have to invest in
better hardware and redundant system
better quality charting software,
quality data feed

and all these will increase overhead.

There is a "Candlestick Pattern" indicator that you can apply to a Chart or a Market Analyzer (advanced quote board) that will scan for patterns etc...
