Don't fall into the trap of anthropomorphizing the thing, like top-level scientists sometimes do. They fall in love with their subject matter and develop twisted mental relationships with it.

Their goal is to maximize their survivability to make sure they are alive at the end of the day; they don't give a shit about going overboard to kill us all. Just like cancer or the HIV virus, when the cancer is spreading or the HIV virus is replicating, they don't give a shit about the host dying at the end. They spread and replicate as much and as fast as they can just to survive. This covid virus is the same.

It's a virus for chrissake!! All viruses are the same. They replicate, spread and mutate to survive. Exactly how, we need scientific data. But its basic characteristics, one doesn't need peer-reviewed or whatever shit to know. One just needs a brain to know. Grow one and we would love to see that. Thank you.
