You've got a good bit going on there. Will touch on the alcohol, and see what op says about the rest. My training's DC training btw, which is geared towards bodybuilding. Yes, extremely heavy weights are used, but still a bodybuilding program.
As for the alcohol, was thinking about that this evening. Dropped my Son off at his friends place on south end of the island, and was thinking about what is be doing about now if I were still sick. Rolled the windows down, opened panorama sunroof (big time, lol

), and drove the coastal highway, A1A actually enjoying the music, and ocean breeze without needing to "help it" be even better... And yeah, done most of the dumb stuff, including train while in a blackout. More than once.. After burying my Dad last year (mismanaged diabetes non alcoholic liv cirrhosis, then cancer..), and finding I have fatty liver disease, it all had to end, but took months even then, relapse, after relapse.
After I had finally decided enough was enough, my doc pit me on Antabuse and Librium, Librium for detox at home. My Doc here is a recovering alcoholic, and knew my bullshit when I tried. He finally said, "you a take a Antabuse, and that a it." Well, I did that. Was serious for the first time. And the only screw up? Went to the intracoastal waterway to wade out and fish due to boredom. Well, thought this Antabuse was baby stuff, and I could at least go buy an ice cold 24oz can. (And as you know, "that one would have been my only drink..") Ok, I'm about to wade out in the water with other fishing nerds, and took a big sip. Nothing happened so a few more. Wasn't ten minutes, and in the water, hr went way up, bp I could feel was up, sweating profusely, and yeah, vomiting like I've never vomited before. Thought I would die vs all those other times where "I thought I'd die," only to do it again the next day. If you get that, lol. Soooo, learned that shit works, lol! Haven't had a drink since.
Was in a cvs today, and seeing someone buying beer in front of me, I literally shivered. If you've ever drank a ton of beer, and shivered when taking a leak, that's the shiver I get seeing alcohol. Just makes me sick all the way around looking at it. I'll be able to sit in a restaurant/club with friends, and some chicks who all consume some alcohol, but I try not to pay attention to their drinks, not as I'd want one, but because I get physically ill at the thought. The memories of what I've done to myself, relationships, and bodybuilding goals just makes me sick. Hard to put words to it. Also, don't take Antabuse anymore, minor anything else related. Stopped the Antabuse after two months due to my already compromised liver. Plus, just didn't need it. Wouldn't drink if threatened with an alligator, and that's no joke.
Met a large group that rivals AA IMO. And nothing against AA. Bill W was a retail broker, as I once was, lol. My problem, is half there are court ordered, and just dying for,the meeting to end so,they can drink. In addition, it's hard to stop drinking when you're told "am powerless over alcohol.." Lol! I used to raise udder hell over that, and was told I'm just angry over the process. Probably was, but the on line group I found, "did it" for me, and I've not seen AA since. Again, nothing against AA, as they do mean well, and do make a difference. Their numbers just can't rival what I found. And you should stop in to check out the seven day thread here:

After that, there's a toolbox there, that's invaluable. Akin to Jay Citler saying, "come on down with a lot of paper, and pen so I can go over exactly every secret, plus contest prep secrets, real nutrition, etc.," Is a gift.
Still have some anxiety, and IBS was a result as of recent. None the less, am 100:1 better. And actually pretty happy as well. I guess, happy I have a chance vs not long ago as then, was basically dying. In more ways than one.. For anxiety, I'm curious what op may recommend there. I don't care for the occasional need for 0.5mg clonazepam. Of course, that coming from a guy who'd inject 1,500mg Sustanon, and drink 15 drinks at once over 2-3hr period.
And your last paragraph is interesting as I know it all too well. I absolutely drank due to boredom. Frustration, yes. Anger, yes. Anxiety, oh yes. And if happy over something, a few drinks was always a great idea (at the time, lol

) to make it even better. I'd believe you could be a candidate for Antabuse, but your doc will most certainly do labs IF he/she writes it. Yes, if he or she says they don't write Antabuse, and want to send you to a Psychiatrist to have him write it, go find a different doc.
If you lived in a north FL, or were coming here, I'd refer you to the actual doc who was a drunk like me at one time, and helped immensely. And if you aren't aware, you need to know detoxing cold turkey can be deadly. If you're drinking daily, and a good amount, coming off clean isn't smart at all. Thismismwjere the benzos (Librium) come in. OR, you can wean, which I don't recommend, as isn't effective for making you quit. In addition to the above, I also went through an outpatient program where I did two, two hour meetings a week. The Ph.D who, runs the small "botique" substance abuse outpatient climic was about brain chemistry, and changing it with amino acids, vitamins, even whey protein. Yes, your dopamine is as screwed up as a soup sandwich, among numerous others that need RE-WIRED! AA won't tell you this, as they don't know it, and couldn't understand it if they tried. Is done with some "chemicals," that make such a difference, is stunning. Aminos, Whey, vitamins, taurine, intense exercise, clean, non-fried low glycemic meals, etc., All AA can do is talk about how bad the last car crash felt hitting the tree. Sorry, but true. Enough of that. You've got a shot (forgive the pun, lol), if you'll take it. As you know, it's up to you. And damn, haven't typed that much in some time, lol! I'll take a case of ginger ales, or coconut water when you're clean and mean.
Forgot to mention, there is some new "breakthrough" in addictions called Kratom. Haven't used it, and don't know much about it, but am told by three former hard core drunks, it's working like no Librium ever could to keep them from drinking. I'm far past the urge to drink, but would have tired the Kratom if I had known of it. One note, I do hear large dosing produces a euphoric high, so beware of that, even though "they" say it's non addictive.
