Olympic lifters/Crossfit workout and diet thread

Ubiquinol is unnecessary and 100mg is not enough for an adult. There is something to be said for taking the reduced-form if you're >65yo.

Both are freely converted. It's cellular (not 1st-pass hepatic; e-donor). -ol is basically a waste of cash; unstable, cannot be bound (further) to a fat. The plasma conc. of the -one in coconut oil is far higher than can be had by taking a similar dosage of -ol soft gels.

IMO, 10mg/kg (daily) is optimal for an adult.

Anyone taking cannabidiol? One of my kids is gifted (~180-200IQ) and cannot get through a school day without it -- even after being promoted. IMO the stuff is amazing for adult ADHD. The only problem is cost as we're going through two 10G tubes a month ($1200)

I'd actually like to try it. I got some "stuff" in Colorado the last time I was there, and it was high in CBC's. Very interesting stuff to say the least. Mental focus is strong with this, and for some reason, I don't have aches in my knees using this.

I did some reading up on this after reading your post and it seems that taking the regular coq10 with fat is the way to raise absorption rates. Are there studies using coq10 with coconut oil ? I'll probably use that next time.

Not that I am aware, but I prefer a saturated oil as I can chop off a block of coq10 and not worry about it going rancid. It is MCT so it it is a fuel source when metabolized in the liver and produces excess ketone bodies. Zero contribution to heart disease or atherosclerosis.

I have a love/hate relationship with creatine. On the one hand, I love the pump and fullness it gives me. On the other hand, that fullness also appears in my face as well, so I have a bloated out look when I look at myself in the mirror, which I totally hate.

Are you still using ursolic acid ?

If so what dosage are you running ?

Yeah, I will go through a couple of bottles and then take a break for a while and then go back to it. I pretty much always take what the bottle says, which is 200mg twice a day. My current bottle is from Labrada Nutrition but I find it to be inferior to the bottles I previously got from E-Pharm.

I wish they had 11-OXO in stock.
