He is giving his(prop firm's) money for you to trade. You only pay platform and data fees and can quit anytime. There is NO risk to you other than your initial education expense. Sounds like a great deal - use OPM to prove you got what it takes. Not much different from something being sponsored here on ET. It's not a scam, but only you can tell if it's worth it for you.Who in their right mind would trust a stranger of 50k of their own money? Obvious scam is scam.
It's because of guys like you that this type of person is still around trying to fool desperate people to make money. He is giving his(prop firm's) money for you to trade. I "lost" much more on college education. Could have picked up all that knowledge on the internet, no? He provides education. He makes no promises. We all know the statistics, the rest is up to us. I appreciate him showing his style prior to taking your money. I look at it as buying a call ... Low probability with unlimited potential. Sometimes false hope is better than no hope. I don't know him or his past and don't really care ... I'm speaking generally about trading education providers. Keep in mind that there are countries where you can make good living by making a couple of $100 a day ... IF someone let's you trade their capital remotely. You're 100% sure to lose 1000$, that's not a risk, it's a fact
I am confused you have conflicting opinions of this person or did you just change your mind at the last second after all the accumulating posts suggesting he is a fraud? He is giving his(prop firm's) money for you to trade. Listen, you should NOT deal with him. I say this because I see you will be disappointed. Your expectations are wack, imho. You are looking for certainty in a business which has none! Search for "Turtle traders" and see why knowing one's methodology is not enough. If you think you can learn to trade for $1000 you are delusional. .
I didn't have to be in his program in order to know that. Just reading the reviews of countless of other traders. None of them got funded with the so called promised 50k and I highly doubt a single person did no matter how good they did in the simulator. That's what you call a scam. What do you mean by "He lies about offering 50k?" Did they turn you down? As far as I understand, the only qualification is to pass the simulator.

And I thought OP was lacking in common sense. So people like this exist. You're right it's no wonder it is such a lucrative business for these scammers. After witnessing all this myself maybe I should set up my own pseudo "scam" course. If even 1 out 10,000 people are this stupid it's definitely a gold mine!!!It's because of guys like you that this type of person is still around trying to fool desperate people to make money.
You're 100% sure to lose 1000$, that's not a risk, it's a fact. I'm not trying to convince you, just to warn other wannabe traders.
