I could be placing trades all day actually or just a few swing trades or position trades here and there. I will likely just be posting swing and position trades on the trade journal.

Today and tomorrow will likely be a wash as I have been entertaining my kids for summer vacation. Still following the market but lacking focus. I coulda/shoulda shorted the AUD/JPY this morning when it was retesting a resistance level that I had noted but I knew my attention would not be totally available to manage it. Either way; I hope to get some good setups next week.

Probably would have made more sense to NOT have started this thread if you didn't plan on being a serious trader right now (ie kids, distractions etc). Would have made more sense to wait until you had the time to dedicate?

What is the purpose of providing these attachment image files?

1. They are very old - 6 months old on this last one.
2. That they did not have any forecast. Only scribbles.


You want other people to take you seriously, start with not wasting other people's time.

Starting a new thread "FXWave Old Dog Trading Journal " with a one-liner boiler plate with no follow up before you are ready is not going to help your reputation.

Take it easy on the "conspiracy theory" and about other spammers have their turf to protect. You said you joined this board for the first time only 3-4 days ago. (And you already have it figured out. Wow!) I have seen many familiar names in this thread posted on ET before. I have not seen any spamming activity from them as you described.

Wow... 27 pages is just the Introduction. I guess ET can stand for Entertainment Tonight.

I would rather stay alive as my philosophy can be summed up in the below statement:

It has been said that "curiosity" killed the cat but it might be more accurately stated that "seriousity" killed the cat.

I Don't want to guess...I would rather be patient and wait for the op to set itself up when the time is right. It would be better to wait and miss than force a trade; than be playing catch up. Especially if people might actually be following my trades!

It's my belief that the big diff between a demo account and real account with money or a reputation on the line; is that our level of seriousness goes way up on the later.

With seriousness comes "closed minedness" and thus the inability to step back and admit your wrong.

A curious cat may take serious risk as does a trader but a curious cat will he will also duck and hide. If cats weren't curious; they would never learn and be capable of being independent hunters.

I wanted to be true to my word and set up the trade journal. I never said I would start posting trades immediately. The journal thread is set up and ready to go and I actually thought I could put a few trades out there today and they would have worked if I had but I missed the op but there will more ops next week.

My journal will speak for itself:)...my intro really was just page 1 while the following 26.5 pages to follow was ET's intro into protecting their turf and egos.

I am still blown away that this silly little hello thread has had nearly 6000 hits in just over 3 days...crazy!...I musta said something to threaten more than just a bunch of egos.

$$$$$$$ TALKs a lot of Shee-aight!

How many indentities can someone have here....50...100?...the possibilities for playing games is endless.
