What is your focus in trading?
....and what do you prefer as vehicles?

Any interest in trading open-ended (Rydex or Profunds) index funds with a very next TD focus?
 
all coders fail because they can not first thoroughly think out the trading process. they simply don't know what their doing, because you can not learn what to do without losing copious amounts of money actually trading to be thoroughly educated.

it's a rich mans game, i was lucky some rich guys funded my coding ability and if it was not for their money supporting me i never would have figured it out. it takes real money in the game to understand the markets, nothing else can teach you that. coding is only a applicator of the paint you mix.

passion is utmost necessary no doubt..

I have been trading for a living for a great while & hopefully this would not be a one sided collaboration. In other words I don't mind sharing info/knowledge with the right person.
The ideal person would have ability to code these up and run some backtests & be a true finance junky like myself. I would like to work w someone that is either already doing this for a living or that is the goal....
I have found that people that are successful in this biz have a love of the markets & speculation. The people that are just looking for a get rich scheme & do not have a true passion for this never make imo.
You basically have to eat & breathe this stuff to be successful imo.

that is not my experience. I coded a model first then use my money to go live. No trading experience before that
