Yes, I know. I was just underscoring that fact. Reminded me of my brother, always coming around wanting me to code something for him. And it was always: "This is so simple. Nothing to it. Just basic stuff. You could probably do it in less than an hour." Yeah, right. :)
 
Yeah, reminds me of the time someone approached me about doing a competing "program" to PokerParty. Thought they could just hire some "programmers" from the "net" to do it for them. I tried to explain to explain the architectural requirements, ( Server-client, scalability, performance, redundancy, transaction roll backs, etc.) but they just got mad and said I was being "negative".

The OP should just get TS and try to automate it if is 'SO simple". EL is, well, an easy language :wtf:;).

I have been trading for a living for a great while & hopefully this would not be a one sided collaboration. In other words I don't mind sharing info/knowledge with the right person.
The ideal person would have ability to code these up and run some backtests & be a true finance junky like myself. I would like to work w someone that is either already doing this for a living or that is the goal....
I have found that people that are successful in this biz have a love of the markets & speculation. The people that are just looking for a get rich scheme & do not have a true passion for this never make imo.
You basically have to eat & breathe this stuff to be successful imo.
