OK, boomers and millennials: This next wave of home buyers is coming up fast

I have read articles that millennials weren't buying but instead renting since they have a different mentality compared to the older generation. So i dont know which one to believe. is this just another article leading to news that their is a housing shortage and that home builders need to build a half million houses a year to keep up with demand?

Presumably demand will be what it will be. The question is more the mix of rent vs ownership.
 
Massive, massive numbers of pre-owned coming on the market when boomer Trumpers kick the bucket. All of those $60K homes will meet the demand!
