This:
If you are reading this, I have passed on from this world — not as big a deal for you as it was for me.

In those speeches, I'd always offer these future leaders a deal: I would trade them my wealth and success, my 68,000-acre ranch and private jet, in exchange for their seat in the audience. That way, I told them, I'd get the opportunity to start over, experience every opportunity America has to offer.

It's your shot now.
No matter how much our wealth, how many toys we have, we cannot bring them with us to the other side.

Really put things in perspective.

A man who wished his competitors well...
A man who acted upon his instincts...
A man who believed that the people not the government made this country great...

This all sounds familiar. It seems that many net contributors to society share these attributes.

Good shots. His books also are a fun read, a bit crude, but oil+ gas can be like that.I'm surprised he lost money over all in cattle futures; but over all I think he did well with his cattle/quail hunt/quail shoot ranch also.Too bad for the oil bulls, he changed his mind on ''peak oil'' +was proved right on that. He delivered papers @age 12; expanded his paper route from 28 TO 156/great uptrend in %% basis.:caution::caution: :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
