Oil: I call short term bottom right here

Hey, guys, those of you continuing to rag on RM -
In continuing to run this into the ground just says something about you, not RM. We've discussed this in depth and I've explained my original question about the exit, which I also explained was, I believe misguided, and explained where it came from. RM has pointed out his original exit call was to exit at the open the day after the call. Did this form a short term bottom there? No. Was there money to be made for those that followed the initial call. Yes, it bounced a dollar from the call. That's $500 per contract. What do you want? If you did this as a long swing trade and are still long that's you problem, at least for now. Don't put it on RM as he NEVER EVER told you to do that. Wake up!!! Manage your own trades!!! He gave you a good entry for a one day bounce. After that you're on your own. Give the guy a break!!! He's made lots of people here tons of money with call after call. What's wrong with some of you?!!!

Now why don't moderator's close these threads when they become hate mongering festivals?

It will only take a day for someone else to start a new one.

Who's annoyed ? Only those who don't like getting called out on their after the fact trades.
I've thought plenty about it. So do the exits on your calls come real time or do they come a day late like the one you posted for your oil trade. If you were all that you say you would not be pedaling bullshit on ET by trying to sell stock picks to the sheep while screwing them on commissions.

getting ready to buy again ... i am thinking they may run the Oct stops through 60 ...

maybe tomorrow ?? if they get close , i may start accum Nov x ..

Is that what it was? :D IB had data feed probs with Globex and NYMEX and I couldn't trade them for quite a while. Then when they said they were back up, Globex contracts were okay but QM wasn't.
 
I only trade QM, and the October expired @ 2:30PM when the pit closed. Ever notice the Broker always blames the Exchange?
Its never the broker's fault or a server problem, hehehe!

I buy every stomach medicine now by the case @ COSTCO since I started actively trading this nuclear waste!

Sorry vol, but you're going to have to come up with something a <b>hell of a lot more creative than that</b>, if you wish to truly succeed in your loser's mission to piss me off. Since piker traders like yourself are not exactly known for their creative thinking abilities.... I'd bet I'm pretty safe from ever displaying the angry reaction you so desperately wish to incite. :cool:
 
What do you guys think about the intermediate term oil price? I think it continues to trend down and trades through 60 to stop out longs... maybe to 59.50 or even below that. I remember when oil first broke down below 70 it traded down to 69.50 overnight and then retraced above 70 and didnt break back down below 70 again for a few days.

I don't think oil will go below 60 mainly for fundamental reasons. OPEC has clearly stated its position of supporting prices at a minimum of $60, gas has come down and gasoline demand is starting to pick up, which would help support oil.

Plus, with winter approaching and all of the distillates coming into demand, there will be greater crude inventory drawdowns than expected, especially since prices have come down a little.

back up they will go. and let's not forget iran. i have a feeling the administration's recent switch to a more diplomatic stance towards iran has to do with the upcoming elections and the weakness in our markets and economy.

The oil weapon puts us in a chokehold since we're headed into a recession that would be even further exacerbated if iran fcked with the hormuz strait and oil went into the triple digits...

imagine, you fall into a vat of gasoline and are already struggling to stay afloat and not ingest/inhale and someone walks up. They have a lighter in one hand and a life preserver in the other. that's the situation we're headed towards... but i wonder if the iranians are thinking along these lines.

that's a mighty bargaining chip...
