The fbi and/or the white house cannot compel witnesses to cooperate regardless of who is in charge and making final calls. Nor can a court. This is not a criminal or civil matter before the courts. Nor is it an investigation just because the media refers to it that way. It is technically a "special inquiry" with none of the search and subpoena powers that go with an investigation.

Certainly all leftists would want to know who in congress used that 17 million to settle all those sexual assault and discrimination claims. Certainly all leftists would join me and all fair minded people in asking for their immediate resignations. Certainly leftists would acknowledge that people sitting in judgment of another for alleged sexual criminal activity should have a squeaky clean record themselves. Certainly leftists would agree that people judging someone on their tax history would be open to have all people in congress undergo a complete and through audit of their tax history going back through their entire adult life.
