Hmmp. It's turning out kind of disappointing considering the amount of hype and buildup... The whole market is disappointing me recently. I long for the old days of the 'real' boom, when I pocketed $40,000 in a day more than once, effortlessly, on vaporware IPOs. The psychology seems to have changed somewhat since the 'bust'. All the excitable newbies seem to have given up and gone back to their day jobs and the market is ruled by the boring old suits again.
I'm not in GOOG, but I'm watching it hoping to see *some* spark of life (I'll settle for "irrational exuberance"). It's floating aimlessly, adrift like the Titanic in the short minutes after it hit the 'berg... volume's drying up... Without any real interest GOOG could sink to the bottom under its own weight right before closing. Don't quote me on that, my head's spinning from lack of caffeine. But I know a few people speculating on it who are planning on dumping right before close -- win, lose or draw.
I'm glad you guys made some money, I'm gladder you didn't make it off of me!
