Well, if this is the best you can do, then you must be putting up the white flag regarding comparing the beauty of American women to British, the origins of crystal meth, Celine Dion's nationality, and contributions of Americans v.s. British to music.

If only the lower classes eat at McDonald's in Britain, what in God's name are the rest of the people eating? British food is abominable, and is renowned worldwide as being such.

Give me steaks, ribs, etc. any day over your slop.

well this is it. you have never been to the uk. if you have, i can understand why you had a miserable time. i wont say why here though.

London is definitely one of my top three cities, and yes the restaurants were amazing... mind you this was back in the late 80's but my favorite ever was a Pakistani restaurant in Knightbridge called Saloo's. Some others were Veeraswamy's, Blue Elephant, Red Fort, Bibendum, Borscht 'n Tears, etc.

but i should pick you up on a few things.....

1/ there may be a few more fatties in the uk these days - but that is thanks to the likes of mcdonalds, kfc, and other american exports. cheers.

2/ ok. name one american super model living in america. shouldnt be too hard should it given what a great place of fine dining, culture and morals america is should it???

3/ there is very good reason why the michelin system hasnt awarded anything outside of nyc, and has only just done so. the reason is because all america has offered international cuisine is the rib eye steak, burgers and the hot-dog. hardly fine dining is it! i think you will agree with this.

the zaggart guide is used in london, but few people will rate the ratings. michellin is the real way to go.

4/ i saw it on tv so it must be true :D

5/ whats wrong with boy george? hes a great club dj (although i dont really listen to that stuff much anymore). ok, i may agree that america has some good artists - or did. most of them are dead now.
