I am a floor trader on the CME and used to have an office upstairs in the South Tower for trade planning, reconciling, and reviewing. I also did some electronic trading because Lean Hogs only trade from 9am to 1pm downstairs, so I traded ES, NQ, and YM upstairs from 1 to 3.
It wasn't bad, however I realized I'll just save money by trading from a Globex terminal.
It might not be a bad idea to get an office if you're purely electronic, which it sounds like most of you are.
