Now, everybody have you heard
He's gonna buy me a mockingbird
And if that mockingbird won't sing
He's gonna buy me a diamond ring
And if that diamond ring won't shine
He's gonna surely break this heart of mine
And that's why I keep on tellin' everybody.....

I love being an Elite troll after a few single malt's!

I agree less than 100K daytraders are profitable.

What a great thread.....not.

I guess it's better than the Brandonf/ChaosNSX dog and pony thread.

Quote from Loki:

My definition of a daytrader is someone who ends in cash at the end of the day..

Im a prop trader (do it for a living) I carry things overnight. cashing in at the end of the day doesnt mean much. you need hold somtimes.

I also thought I read on don bright's site it said between 5000-10k day traders out there

I'm starting to come under the assumption... that like the economy, banking system, auto industry, etc... NO ONE HAS A CLUE... as to how many people daytrade for a living. LOL. Are there any prop firm owners out there that will venture a guess??

bright has around 450-500 traders
echo is about half that
assent is around 350 traders
