I think your decision is right. I´m going to close out that monthly I put on by mistake last week in TOS. It is going to cost me money though. Another lesson. When you make a mistake, get out and take the loss immediately. Aaaah well!

Thanks for the feedback on those debit spreads. Sometimes I am carrying to many balls and can´t keep them in the air. In a big argument right now with a CHINESE agent on telescope lenses quality and prices.
 
I wish I knew how to forecast those market jumping gaps as a directional. Nice jump this morning, but I have no way of forecasting such a thing reliably.

The dollar has been hammered (Ben is making a lot of people feel poor). But for both of you guys, the dollar situation might feel good on your side.

Futures and EUR/USD do not jump because they trade 24 hours. Stocks jump because they trade only 9:30 to 4.

Did you consider trading forex?

Do they sell them on the web? Is agent in china or in Bellize?

FV: with regard to EUR/USD, I picked a short signal (for end of this morning up move) with pair at 1.4280.

Well I finally closed out that Credit Spread that I put on by mistake in the monthly instead of the weeklies. The loss wiped out two months profits. Think it was about $13,612 I lost on it. Will know at the end of the day. Shold have done it immediately I made the entry mistake.
I´m going to concentrate on trading long options, not credit spreads.

Completely unrelated but I recently got back from a trip to Belize. Stayed in the Cayo district and then also on Ambergis Caye. Beautiful country. Hoping to make it back at some point. Where in Belize do you live?
 
Cayo District. On a hill up from Santa Elena Town. Have properties on Caye Caulker also in the family.

Little Switzerland of the Americas - grin -

Maybe we'll make it a financial powerhouse too. Or a traders retirement home.
