OEC Commissions

I recently opened a demo account with http://www.openecry.com/ and was discussing commissions with Todd, see below attachment.

I feel that he was giving me the run around, notice the time one the left. Nearly an hour went by, I finally had to go to work. I’m wondering if any of you have accounts with them, and were you quoted high like that? How should I negotiate to get them lower. Or is that impossible with account minimum? As a day trader, and scalper it will be nearly impossible for me to trade with them at their current rates.

Yup. Todd was not your friend, at all!

FWIW, for small retail accounts I use the MB, IB, and Proactive, published futures rates for baselines and negotiations. Here's the links...
