Odds SEC shuts down WSB?

The best was when pltr broke out to$16, Guy Adami on cnbc fast money said pltr was worth $12-13. I guess he never heard of WSB.
He’s been so wrong about the power of RH-Webull Global WS Bets “Autists-Retards(their words not mine.)” Alliance. Honestly I respect gamblers like this plus there is good info if you dig!

? flush techies ?

You mean because they own a pc and an robinhood account, they are techies ?
precisely. Nerds lead the way, always have

Tough to say. There's minimal false or misleading info going on. Mods have been great at filtering out bad dd (due diligence). Everyone there is quite clear that they are mostly speculating / gambling. Its no secret. But the PLTR pump was a bit out of control. The last time I remember the entire group going that nuts was over SPCE.

That being said, if you follow that forum, there's lots of money to be made on these meme stocks if u get in early enough. If PLTR like pumps continue to happen, it leads me to wonder if it will raise some eyebrows.
I’m an outsider/newcomer here but I gotta ask - do you see any organic reason that PLTR has the hype it has besides a pump and dump scheme? It has some redeeming qualities

I’ve never looked into pltr. I don’t even know what they do. I just know it gets pumped. I trade futures. I rarely trade stocks

Pump and dumps don't need to involve only scam companies

Say what you want about the amount of notional capital on WSB but there is enough of them to potentially pull off a gamma squeeze.

It's just a bunch of momo traders that bought near the top, missed selling into the rally and then chase it down. Nothing but greed and fear. This is as old as the hills and has been around well before WSB and the like.

Why would it ever be shut down?

Is there a law that states you can not repeatedly and publicly share your opinion why you think a stock will fall or rise?

As I know, theres nothing illegal about it unless you are an insider or a hedge fund staff etc.

right.
these are the people who complain and complain.

a MUCH higher likelihood the CFTC shuts down their discord room since they are spoofing and layering futures with massive size
