Occupiers - Hurting NYC Economy

Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Friday accused the Wall Street demonstrators of trying to cripple New York City's economy.

"What they're trying to do is take the jobs away from people working in this city," the mayor declared in his harshest criticism of the three-week-old protest that has caught the attention of the nation.

"They're trying to take away the tax base we have because none of this is good for tourism."

I've also read that independents are turning against the protesters. So while the likes of unions, Soros, Pelosi and Obama praise the protesters this is just going to put them in a bad light with voters.
 
Pretty funny logic, they are protesting the weak economy, and lack of jobs, by trashing every small business that is unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity of their protest, and forcing them to close their doors.

Its almost like these young people think they have no future with the way things are going right now. Probably spending to much time at prisonplanet.com and listening to alex jones.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines. It's hilarious that a bunch of socialists are protesting a weak economy. If their "ideas" were implemented, it'd be even worse. What's next? The One gets busted for shagging a roomful of interns, then NOW comes out and protests all the anti-Obama rhetoric?
 
wow if only those on wall street cared about the economic well being of ordinary americans as much as they care about their own economic well being life would be swell all the time. Oh well, they can always send an unpaid intern down to starbucks to get them a double mocha decaf latte to drown their sorrows in.

I would have atleast walked in alone, with a monocle, a top hat, and a cane to make the 637 billion dollar cheque seem plausible. :D
