All democrats are not for open borders but all of their candidates for the oval office are.

A couple in that batch may say that they are not for open borders but when asked what they would do about illegals that come in, the answer is either "nothing" or "give em free shit." Fine, whatever. Not in favor of open borders but not in favor of any real consequences either. We know how that will work out because we are seeing it.

They got there all by themselves, without AOC. She can go away and it will not change their position one bit.

Open borders is no longer an issue held by the fringe left. That is mainstream dem socialist party platform now and they are running on it and it is not being extreme to accuse them of doing so. The unbelievable is happening.

Some of the candidates are not only poor candidates, they are enemies of the Republic. Julian Castro - for example- has flat out stated that he does not intend to protect the territorial integrity of the United States if elected and acknowledges no differences in the right of Americans to be here versus anyone else in the world who wishes to be here, and our stuff is their stuff the moment they arrive- including all benefits and citizenship rights.

This is happening. Don't let anyone tell you that it is just some fringe candidates who will never get the nomination. These clowns are actively promoting the end of America as you know it and they are hell bent on finishing the job.

You have just detailed why they'll probably lose the election again, and why so many in the democratic party are very worried, even the likes of MSNBC commentator Donny Deutsch whose critique of the debates was scathing. Only the lunatic fringe AOC crowd being pandered to, the rest of the democratic party being told to shut up, pay up, and otherwise fuck off. They can't win with this platform...yet. 2030's? probably, the demographics will favor them regardless of the lunacy.

Elizabeth Warren tweeted at the time that "we're not falling" for the "fake crisis."

So what's the problem?

Is it a non issue? You don't want to send them back, you don't want to build a wall, you don't want to round up and deport those out of legal options. Seems like an issue to many.
