I didn't say premiums went down, I quoted a study which said they are lower than what others think

If premiums went up 38% cumulatively as you posted after ACA and premiums have increased by 38% PRIOR to the ACA then how can premiums jacked up unless your definition of jacking up is 0.

"Covered California, that state’s marketplace, just announced premium increases averaging 13.2 percent. But even if premiums increase by the 10 or 15 percent overall that some are predicting for 2017, "

The average increase is keeping in line with previous years, for some there would be an increase, some there would be an decrease which is why we are talking about AVERAGES while you were talking about your INDIVIDUAL case.

You know they are lying when they said obamacare gave consumers better plans. Everyone I know had their deductibles jacked way up, in some cases so much so that it really didn't make sense to buy the insurance. Oh and guess what? They can't force providers to accept it. In a lot of places you cannot get topnotch care with the plans. You get the providers who need the business instead.

So you pay more for an inferior product. But at least you elderly people are covered for prenatal care, sex change ops and addiction therapy. IOW you are paying for stuff you neither need nor want. They have good lobbyists though.

You also get to pay for 15 million or so illegal aliens. It's only fair though, since you are also paying for their education, welfare and crime. They add a lot of vibrancy, you racist scum.

Premiums always go up, never down, the question was of RELATIVE changes, on a cumulative average basis, pre and post ACA changes aren't different at all, it's lower for many people in fact. You can't dispute this fact.

What some people pay out of pocket has gone done because they are subsidized. The premiums themselves went up.

My premiums are up over 125% with a 200% increase in deductible for a compliant policy since Obamacare went into effect. I basically am self insured. To boot now we have only one Ins Co. BCBS, they have been playing hardball with the hospitals. I had a minor mishap earlier in the year, trip to ER only to find out after the fact the Hospital had been taken off the PPO list a month earlier because they were disputing their contract.

Had to pay out of network rates and deductible. Which do not count towards in network deductibles. Another month later the hospital agreed to terms and is now back in network.

As for me. My ass hurts from the bend over.

Fuck Obamacare, Repeal the bastard. It's only costs me thousands.
