Man, a 100 percent a month model.... even with 5k to start, you could be set for life. This is what is so suspicous here. If this thing really does do 100 percent a month, whats the problem??? Even if as nononsense says, have your other less profitable systems borrow from this big one. It makes no sense, and you are probably misrepresenting alot of facts, because if you had a 100 percent preformer, you would have hardly any financial worries, except of course when the system will break down. Thats the hardest part of a profitable system (when will it stop returning the money!). And if thats the case and the worry, then forget about investors......

Why is it so difficult for some people to understand my situation? Our 100% monthly return IS NOT SCALABLE. It makes a fixed amount of money NO MATTER THE CAPITAL. We use the 100% return based on the fact that we use the minimum capital needed to run it at optimal profitability, hence NOT WASTING CAPITAL. If we DOUBLED the capital in the system, it would produce a 50% return on that money. Does that clear it up? ALL OF THAT MONEY(the profit) IS USED TO RUN THE COMPANY.
When the investor said he was looking for a "hobby", that is a nice-nice way of saying he would have control and be watching everything going on. Basically, you got yourself a partner, watching your ass becomes his new life and "hobby".
You are not "open to all arrangements". You want potential investors to write a check, kick the tires a bit, and walk away...or close to it.
Again, money finds a way. All the talk about your "fixed costs" are peanuts when you are talking the kind of returns you mentioned.

That was not the case. We are not idiots. We spent weeks with this person talking, analyzing, meeting, presenting. I cannot go into the details as to why it didn't work, but we are smart enough to know it wouldn't have. We are not amateurs. Our company and ideas was actually started from a VC meeting years ago. This is when you say "This doesn't make sense, why not go back to them if they were real?" Or whatever. The bottom line is that I am trying to get out as much info as possible without putting our company at risk on a message board. I realize there is always a price to pay hitting these boards and I was willing to take that and deal to hopefully get helpful info. I don't expect people to believe our situation or cheer us on. The postings have created value for me, especially the PM's. The contacts in PM are nice leads to maybe something happening. I want to thank everyone and also any future leads that may come.
Okay last time. Yes I have done these things. TS is new to us. Before that, we build EVERYTHING in house. A little while ago, we looked into Tradestation as a way to streamline operations and get ideas faster to market. We first tested stupid strategies to get used to EasyLanguage. This is a tool for myself to learn. Our programmers would never touch it because they do bigger projects. Does that clear things up? Why do you spend so much time trying to discredit me? Why do you care? I am not asking anything from you. I am merely looking for avenues to help grow my business. I am not selling anything to the general public, so my attempts do not even affect you. Are things that miserable that you have to spend time thinking about me and my busniness and searching for my old posts? If I was trying to sell something to people I could understand why you would want to discredit me. In this case, anyone who would be interested can make their own decisions after meeting with us and seeing our results. I'm done defending because now it's a waste of my time.
Actually I have a very profitable system that is not scalable, I do know what they guy is talking about. It is very profitable but you just can't apply a lot of capital to it or the returns fall off sharply.

I have applied to some of these and gotten a response. The problem with Venture Capital folks is that they know that you are good with a startup and they also know that when your company grows to a certain size you will not be good with it. They will kick you out at that time.

Look ... With all due respect ..... If you have a good system then take it to chicago and start making contacts within the financial and trading community: there are plenty of people in Chicago that would understand the merits of your system and would have substantial dollars to fund your company. Its pretty easy to do this - just start talking with people. If ET is where you are pitching for funding then IMHO there is already a BIG problem as this is not anywhere that a legitimate venture would be looking for funds .....
