I'll be addressing this at TL after the close.
I can say with almost near certainty that tomorrow the market will breakout from this infernal range. It is getting monotonous - sell 45 buy 35, buy 45 sell 60 buy 40 sell 50 sell 50 buy 40 blah blah blah
But back to the breakout. It is as close to certain as it could be that tomorrow the NQ will finally breakout one way or the other and put in one of its lovely 50 -100 point range days. Here is how I determine that: First, it has now been in this range since last Friday - nearly a week. Second, I've been diligently trading this darn range all week waiting for the breakout. And third (and this is the clincher) I am chaperoning my son's fourth grade field trip tomorrow and I will not be trading.
Ergo, big day in NQ land tomorrow
That is trading via SLA/AMT/FDA: "Straight line approach, auction market theory, forty draws away"
That might be premature - I do not have a limit at 40 and I already took my +5 on 1/2. I'm just assuming this thing is going to bounce 40 +/- a point or so, if it breaks then maybe we see 35 or 30 again before the close. Or maybe we break this range today - we do have an hour to go ... but per FDA, a break is unlikely.
db, what is the name of the thread you are referring to?
Is it the same thread you referenced in regard to your method of projecting targets?

Observation: Today's low of day is 4431. The high of the overnight market was 4448.75. Should price reach a high of 4466.75, then 4448.75 will be the mean of the low and high of the day. The present high of day is 4464.75, with 30 minutes of trading left. Even if price does not reach 4466.75, it is close enough to be interesting.
