And what I'm saying is Americans in general are nowhere near as committed to the cause as your average Jihadist or guerrilla warrior, not even close. Militiamen aren't being oppressed and murdered by cops.In time if nothing changes black people will reach the point of willing to sacrifice themselves for there cause imo.They gave a hint of that a few years ago when a very few of them started killing cops in Dallas,NY and Louisiana.Eventually many more will reach that point imo.
In Vietnam you are talking about militants which are being funded an paid for by communist countries -- including planes, pilots, and missiles provided by the Soviet Union & China.
In Iraq, you are talking about militants of multiple religious affiliations who are being paid and armed from multiple countries included Iran.
Similar to the American Revolution none of these militants would have been in existence without help from outside countries.
And furthermore each of these countries (Vietnam, Iraq, & Afghanistan) are examples of global conflict. They are not examples of citizens protesting against the actions of a country's government to remove the administration from power or to drive change.

I won't hold my breath waiting for an actaul firefight. They do put it all on the line then they have my respect as I have for any man or woman who does so, and it doesn't matter whether I agree with their position or not. A friend or enemy who is a true believer deserves that respect. Until I see that kind of commitment these are just punks shouting from the cheap seats. They can suit up, get on the field and take a hit, or just STFU.
