Obama's White House Owes $833,970 in Back Taxes

I thought you were meaning people in the Administration.

Actually it is all federal employees and military personel. Still, it is disqusting that these people with regular pay checks can't get their taxes paid. I'm sure they all have taxes withheld so I'm not sure where the problem lies.
 

There is no comparable data to compare the compliance rates of taxpayers in the private sector, but in past years when the IRS did track compliance rates of private and public sector workers, the delinquency rates were about the same.

The Prez does not enforce tax compliance among the WH staff. It's illegal for the IRS to release info about a person's returns or his compliance, unless of course actual criminality is involved, and even then, I'm not sure how much winds up in the public record. Someone else who knows about that would have to weigh in. What I do know is that even if you found out who I am in real life, you could never, legally, get your hands on my returns.
But you knew that before you posted, didn'cha?

Maybe Obama should get everyone working in the White House a copy of TurboTax. It's recommended by the Secretary of the Treasury.
