Except that Obama didn't shake or offer to shake anybody's hand on this occasion. Look at the chandeliers in the video and picture. The bespectacled gentleman appears in both. Obama is visiting with his delegation not the other way around.
The only explanation is that there was a Russian delegation alongside and lo and behold, as I said earlier, Medvedev shakes the hands of his own people while introducing them to Obama. There are so many other minutiae like the lapel flag pins which are seen in the video and yahoo piece. Enough said.

My point is that it really doesn't matter what happened.

What is important is that the right wingers would be attacking the Russians if they thought the Russians had snubbed Reagan or Bush, but are found attacking Obama and not the Russians.

The right wing hates America, looking for any and every chance to hope that America fails...
