1) There were blacks playing pro football before the NFL existed. The glass ceiling is your opinion.. there are and have been many black QB's in my lifetime (in the NCAA and NFL) and there are very few that are successful in the pros. Is there a glass ceiling on white halfbacks, cause i can't think of one white starting RB in the NFL today? Hillis shares time with Jamal Charles.

2) No it wasn't, this is an outright made up lie. The NFL definitely caved to social pressure, but there were black pros long before AA existed. Who gives a fuck if YOU are sympathetic to the last one to place, if he is still 10th best, why should someone worse take his spot, just cause the color of his skin? He worked his way into the top 10, in any fair system he would get in.

3) If you need AA then you don't belong is the point. If the whole of the NFL was black players i would still watch football, as long as they are the BEST players.

Anyway you're rationalizing (poorly), and you didn't answer the question. The country is majority white, the NFL is majority non-white, would you support NFL policy that reserved a % of slots for white players proportional to their % of the population?

Good post.

Reward failure and punish success, plus a broad nationalization of the factors of production, and entrepreneurs - the real job creators - don't invent, risk, innovate, start or grow new business. GDP then grinds to a halt and back to poverty. What next? The impoverished serfs clamor for more Government "intervention" because they're idiots who have no idea how the economy actually works, and that they're all being played as fools by authoritarians at the top who are purposefully, and with total will and foresight, bankrupting the country to create national dependency to consolidate power.

Fractal has it right. That's what they're doing to America.
 
It is interesting that Chavez used oil revenue to buy votes and political favors. On the other hand, Obama has used the wealth created by the makers in our economy to buy votes and political favors.
