Obama says regrets remark in racially charged case

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama said on Friday he should have chosen his words more carefully when he said police "acted stupidly" in arresting a prominent black Harvard scholar, touching off a debate over race.

Obama made his comments after talking on the telephone to Sgt. James Crowley, the Cambridge, Massachusetts, police officer who made the arrest, and discussing inviting Crowley and Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates to the White House for a beer.

"Because this has been ratcheting up and I obviously helped to contribute ratcheting it up, I wanted to make clear in my choice of words I think I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge Police Department or Sgt. Crowley specifically," Obama said. "And I could have calibrated those words differently."

His choice of words "unfortunately gave the impression that I was maligning the Cambridge police department"? So people just misinterpreted his comment that they acted stupidly? He actually meant it as a form of compliment? He just can't understand why implying that police are racist thugs is so controversial. In obama's world that is just accepted as a given, along with all white people being racistsand all blacks being victims no matter how many millions they make out of white guilt.

If anyone thinks police officers write up accurate police REPORTS they are sadly misinformed. I was written up once by a dickhead state trooper and was more than willing to just go ahead and cop a plea and be done with the bullshit from a John Wayne wannabe in his funny trooper hat being a big wheel in some podunk district.

Then the lawyer i had, knowing if i read the little pissants report knew i would be upset with the filthy lies he wrote up. Sure enough, (who said lawyers are stupid?) i got on the phone to Podunk, AZ and said i would appear to debunk the bogus, inflated bullshit charger. I spent $1,600 and waxed the troopers ass in court.

If anyone else also thinks blacks are not discriminated against by cops just driving a car or walking down a street are not being intellectually honest with themselves.

Cops are wussies, pissants with little dicks allowed to carry a real gun.

The professor is the good guy in this situation, the cop is just being the usual asshole they always are. HOG OUT, no rebuttals from right wing NRA members. fuck off :p
