So will going through an exchange be the exclusive method to get health insurance?
Clearly the govenrment will wield vast power over insurance companies by virtue of being able to deny them access to these exchanges or declare their policies nonconforming. I'm sure we can trust obama and his chicago-thugs to use that power wisely. After all, we trust the IRS with vast pwers too, and they've shown how they handle it.
The elite Socialist ruling class are fighting hard to exempt themselves from what they want the rest of us to do.

Last week Avik Roy reported that unions, too, are not too happy about their membersâ being dumped into the exchanges. He writes:
In the private sector, many workers are concerned about losing their employer-sponsored health insurance coverage, and being dumped into Obamacareâs subsidized insurance exchanges. Two weeks ago, representatives of three large labor unions fired off a harsh letter to Democratic leaders in Congress, complaining that Obamacare would âshatterâ¦our hard-earned health benefitsâ and create ânightmare scenariosâ for their members. Today, we learn that the National Treasury Employees Unionâthe union that includes employees of the Internal Revenue Serviceâis asking its members to write letters to their Congressmen, stating that they are âvery concernedâ about legislative efforts requiring IRS and Treasury employees to enroll in the Obamacare exchanges.
âI am a federal employee and one of your constituents,â the letter begins. âI am very concerned about legislation that has been introduced by Congressman Dave Camp to push federal employees out of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and into the insurance exchanges established under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).â

Maybe we will get Obamacare for homeowners. Guaranteed acceptance no matter how recently the hurricane destroyed your home.
I think the trick will be to sign up by phone a day or so before a hurricane is supposed to hit. If it does, you are covered. If it misses you just cancel the policy in a day or so. 30 day refusal and all that on insurance.
