The idea of man given or created rights allows slavery to men and governments.
(and yes slavery existed as the founders were writing those words... but they still had the balls to write the words. As those words percolated in Americans spirits, they helped end slavery. )

A right is a man made idea. If our society like most societies decide that health care is a right then it will be.
ACA does not make health care a right, nor does it control health care (no more than the insurance companies have always controlled it) it makes taking personal responsibility for your health care mandatory or tries to anyway. This is not much different than mandatory auto insurance but on a national level. Granted the ACA needs many improvements just like the previous system needed more improvements.
