Obamacare Fail - only 23% say its a success

According to the latest Rasmussen poll published on April 8th, only 23% of likely American voters now rate Obamacare as a success and 62% believe Republicans will repeal the law. The latest polling results are a very bad omen for 13 incumbent Democratic Senators in seats the Republicans believe they have a chance of winning in the November 2014 mid-term elections.
The Rasmussen Organization surveys 1,000 “Likely Voters” each week on a number of topics. This week’s poll focused on healthcare to demonstrate Americans increasingly fear the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, is terminally flawed and voters believe it is bad for the nation and their personal wellbeing.
The most recent poll of likely voters found only 27% strongly approve of the way Barack Obama is performing as president and 42% strongly disapprove of his performance. Although this -15% rating is historically abysmal even for a second term president, the polling for healthcare shows a greater rejection of President Obama’s “greatest accomplishment.”
 
And of that 23% I suspect that most of those voting that way signed up and got a nice generous subsidy so that they pay very little out of their own pocket. But who knows .. they may start bitching that they have to pay anything at all; that in fact they're discriminated against since Medicaid people pay no premiums. Nothing would surprise me at this stage.
 
I'd wager the 23% is for "unqualified success".

Edit: yep, "2* Implementation of the health care law began last October 1. Overall, would you rate the health care law so far as a success or a failure, or somewhere in between?"

By the way, the sample size is 1000.
 
I hope you bring up the criticism about poll size only being 1000 when you point to hillary leading the R candidate. 1000 is a probably above the mean for the polls we see cited here on et.

I brought it up because "I have three statistics degrees" guy (yeah, right) derided a sample size of 3300 a week ago.

Sorry I went on to get 2 graduate degrees. I didn't realize it made people feel so inadequate.

LOL, your style is dripping personal inadequacy. Just mentioning "I have three degrees" is admission of that (and who does that?).

And, no, this conclusion, "all it says is that not too many people think Odumbocare is all that great" cannot be drawn from the responses, for the reason you just gave.

For the record, I do think 1000 (and 3300) are useful sample sizes, which is why I provided you the confidence calculator link.
 
I really don't think you guys have much to worry about when talking to rectum. He's the guy who went to the Orlando "beach..."

While I realize you do not stats pretty well ricter... three stats degrees does bring some credibility to stats discussions.
