You don't get it. Many businesses can't afford to offer this crappy coverage ... too costly. And at the same time many can't afford to pay the penalty as that is massive.

And at the risk of offending Rectum ... I have a good friend with 35 years experience who has started and sold 2 insurance companies. The horror stories he tells me now and then is scary. Companies that will shut down due to Odumbocare ... and that is not a wild ass statement. Case in point ... 500 person cleaning company that never offered health insurance in the past. Cost to offer Odumbo insurance was quoted around $2.5 million per year. The head of the company says "I can't afford that". So he's told .. "Okay, you can pay the tax (penalty) then, but that will be $1 million". The guys says (again) "I can't pay that either".

These democrats just don't seem to understand that insurance companies have to adjust their rates according to the health of the pool they cover. If they're now forced to take those with any and all preexisting conditions, and those who will "enroll from an ambulance," the math doesn't work keeping the rates the same as they were before the ACA. If an insurer were to keep rates the same, and accept all the unhealthy, the company would implode very quickly. Just like the health care system will do in a decade or less...:( Thanks nazicrats, and sheep!:mad:

In line with your story what do you propose those 500 workers do when they need health care, suffer and die ? You know they barely make enough to live on if that. What's your solution DH? All I've heard is you bitching and telling us how you want everything set up to benefit you personally. What is you're solution to health care, we're waiting.
