Obama Worried For The Ft. Hood Terrorist

Apparently , guns are not allowed on a military base.

here is one comment from the article:

''So, guns are not allowed to be carried on military bases, but it's okay to carry them at a local family park? Holy maggots, Batman! We are truly screwed up''.

Please be sitting because I know you and the MSBNC crowd will be stunned to read this. Very few people have a weapon on their person at a stateside military installation. Most don't even have immediate access to a weapon. There's no reason for all personnel to be armed. Further, it's not OK to carry a weapon at the family park, or schools, or most workplaces, etc. Still sitting? I hope so. Criminals are unlikely to obey that law as evidenced by the 500+ murders in Chicago and twice that wounded last year, with Chicago happening to be a "gun free" zone.
Gun laws had nothing to do with this sad event. It's a mental health issue, as well as demonstrating how we cast our veterans aside once the war machine is done with them.

Captain . . . you should heard Hannity going on like:
why are they saying it isn't terrorism , and why aren't soldiers allowed to carry firearms on base . . . it could have prevented some deaths.
whah , whah .whah. . . 15 minutes of it.

all this on Fox News. :( .

I don't watch Hannity. Little too over the top for me. The only thing I watch on FOX is "The Five" and that's mostly to look at the leg show, and I do watch The news with Brett Baier. Leans a little right, but mostly straight shooting on that show IMO. Other than that I don't watch FOX news. I rarely watch anything at MSNBC. They have no credibility at all anymore. Little bit of CNN, but they're not much better. I'll watch RT sometimes for the commie slant. Sometimes they're right about U.S. hypocrites.

Btw pspr, this quote in your post says it all: "We have a medal for those who remotely operate drones, but the Pentagon claims awarding the victims of the 2009 shooting with Purple Hearts would jeopardize the shooter's chance at a fair trial."

O..... is a muslim,  [/QUOTE

Well with all due respect to Pres Bush[r],+ Pres Barack Hussein,[d] both of whom said ''Islam is a religion of peace'' Mr.' Larry Bates,[ former member of Tennessee House of reps/banking committee, gold silver dealer, former banker] said ''that's pandering for votes''
Of course so many in Islam,, about 90% of the billion people do not believe the Koran;; probably about 10% do[about 100 million some estimate., a huge %%

I though they renamed [to protect the guilty] the terror shooting last time in Ft Hood ''workplace violence''

I wonder if DO D leadership feels partly responsible, since they have been giving Bible Believing Chaplains such a hard time. When they kicked God out of the schools[Judeo- Christian= 10 commandments] , no wonder violence is in;'' duh '' as the youth say.

I always knew George Bush was a libtard hiding under the R name. We had a brief moment of leadership with Reagan, and even I will say he was severely flawed with his war on drugs, and other shit he pulled, but at least he was a LEADER. That should mean something, as Marines like me LOVE Reagan, but at the same time, we know/knew he was trying vs today's lunatic democrat who wants nothing more than to point us to a FEMA camp for political re-education while they sip their iced tea.

At the time of this (latest) shooter's conception, did God know that one day he would go on a shooting rampage?

Thanks to Obama’s 2011 Directive, Fort Hood is a ‘Gun Free Zone’

April 3, 2014 By Greg Campbell

...But the question remains: Why, on a military base, were trained soldiers reliant upon the military police to act in defense of the base’s personnel?

Surely, we can trust the military base’s population with firearms- in fact, we not only allow them access to firearms, our nation demands proficiency and even put one in their hands.

Fort Hood is a so-called “gun free zone,” which means that firearms are off-limits only to those who care about abiding by the law. For those bent on mass murder, however, such regulatory disarmament ensures a low likelihood that victims will be able to fire back.

According to a 2011 directive issued by the Obama Administration:

“Arming DoD personnel with firearms shall be limited and controlled. Qualified personnel shall be armed when required for assigned duties and there is reasonable expectation that DoD installations, property, or personnel lives or DoD assets will be jeopardized if personnel are not armed.”

According to Breitbart News, Milley did not express interest in changing policies related to carrying of firearms on base, but did suggest that the base might review increased measures to search vehicles so firearms will be less likely to be taken onto base.

This line of thinking would be laughable if the circumstances it produced weren’t so tragic. There is absolutely no reason why our armed forces members should be at the mercy of any deranged individual crazy enough to begin a rampage.

The Obama Administration and the left’s commitment to anti-gun single-mindedness did not pull a trigger, but created a perfect atmosphere for carnage. It is time for America to demand a reevaluation of the erroneous notion that more guns equal more crime. It is time for the left to finally admit what the right has known all along: the best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

A soldier who experienced the senseless tragedy at Fort Hood last week wrote a moving letter to Texas lawmakers on Monday which is now public record (read entire letter below).

In the letter, 1st Lieutenant Patrick Cook says that the massacre was completely predictable and predicts more violence “because Fort Hood is a gun free zone.” Cook says that lessons from the last Fort Hood attack were not learned.

“More will die, more will be wounded, more families will be torn apart, needlessly. It happened again, and will happen again, because Fort Hood is a gun free zone,” Cook wrote. “Stripped of my God-given right to arm myself, the only defensive posture I had left was to lie prostrate on the ground, and wait to die,” Cook explained, referring to his Second Amendment right to bear arms, which for some reason trained soldiers at Fort Hood apparently don’t have access to.
