Obama Will Say Anything To Get A Vote

Quote from pspr:

The new announcement reflects Obama’s view that the administration should play a larger role in the nation’s economy and civil society.[/i]

Only complete morons and govt parasites (hoping to cash-in) believe that's a good thing.

Who's John Galt?

Barf. A larger role is the LAST thing we need.

If this guy is reelected he will be virtually unresponsive to the will of the people. He will behave as a de factor dictator.

I will watch from Galt's Gulch. :D

When asked, Romney also took the cowards way out saying if he had his way at Augusta women would be allowed. The correct answer when asked about this matter is, no comment! The government has no business telling any private establishment what their policies should be. Nor should the media be trying to sway public opinion.
This isn't about race or sexism. It's about government intrusion into our lives. Real leaders would be able to point that out.

Why would a woman want to go to an all mens club?

People want to go where they are not wanted, then you have racism and sexism.

On the flip side we have all these little off shoot support groups and clubs for every gd neurosis in the world.

Men only "hang nails on the index finger sufferers club" what is the point of allowing women to join? Men might drink beer and get off topic and talk about tits, then everything gets ruined.

There ya go, "Men with tits" club. Women could join. Win win for everybody.

Today it's say something to get more women's votes.

The White House’s spokesman said Thursday that the president believes that a golf club in Augusta, Ga., 551 miles from the White House, should change its membership rules and admit women as members.

The new announcement reflects Obama’s view that the administration should play a larger role in the nation’s economy and civil society.

And to think... the genius of The Founders was ADAMANTLY AGAINST A LARGE AND POWERFUL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. (Also against a Central Bank...)

The Founders GOT IT RIGHT!

Odumbo and all of the Progressives now and before have it all wrong... unless, of course, you believe America really should be a Communist country.

If you list all of the "worst Presidents", who comes to mind?

In my case, it's "All of the Progressives, starting with Teddy Roosevelt and up through Odumbo" + George W. Bush.

In fairness, must say, (1) even Clinton was not as bad as Bush, and (2) Reagan, beloved as he is, must be put high on the worst list. He's the one who kicked deficit spending into high gear.

Who's John Galt?

"...John Galt is a fictional character in Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged (1957). Although he is not identified by name until the last third of the novel, he is the object of its often-repeated question "Who is John Galt?" and of the quest to discover the answer.

As the plot unfolds, Galt is acknowledged to be a creator, philosopher, and inventor who symbolizes the power and glory of the human mind. He serves as a principled counterpoint to the collectivist social and economic structure depicted in the novel. The depiction portrays a society based on oppressive bureaucratic functionaries and a culture that embraces stifling mediocrity and egalitarianism, which the novel associates with socialistic idealism..." -- Wiki
