Obama wants more taxes

First Obama wanted to tax 529 education saving plans and had to back off in face of a furious middle class.

Then Obama announced that he wants to increase Federal spending by 7% - (Obama: Federal government not big enough; will increase budget by 7% next year)

Now he wants to tax all corporations a one time tax of 14% or more to pay for his $478 billion public works program.

Obama budget pays for public works spending with one-time foreign profits tax

Obama's answer to everything is more taxes and spending!

There is more,
now watch Republicans scramble to oppose them.

For A Closing Act, Obama Has A Bold Plan To Transform Child Care

President Barack Obama has taken on some pretty ambitious projects, from overhauling health care to slowing global warming. As he comes to the end of his time in office, he’s trying for one more -- although very few people in Washington seem to have noticed, and the most important steps will probably take place after he’s left the White House.

Obama’s goal is to transform government policies for early childhood. Two weeks ago, Obama sketched out his agenda during the State of the Union address, calling for a series of programs including “universal childcare,” as well as paid family and medical leave for working parents. On Monday, Obama will translate these words into specific requests for action when the administration formally releases its budget proposal for the next 10 years.

This explains a lot...

you know... like why Obama is so disconnected from what we want on Earth.

Odumbo should be told (yet again), "go fuck yourself". Didn't we already appropriate $800B in "stimulus" funds for "shovel ready infrastructure jobs to put unemployed Americans back to work", which ended up funding union pension plan shortages?

I think we should be very careful here to look at specific details and avoid making snap judgements. Before passing judgement, I would want to know more about the proposed tax on foreign profits; how it's structured, what is it intended to accomplish other then merely raising revenue, and what is the potential for unintended consequences . If we simply dismiss every new tax without considering the details, we are acting in the same idiotic manner as those who proposed the sequester. That's no way to run a government.

you sure about that? Wasn't the sequester the only sensible thing the government has done for the last six years. And it was bipartisan, and the president signed it. What more do you want? Isn't that government working the way it should?
