Obama wants 4 trillion dollar deficit reduction deal,republicans want 2

Is this a joke? 4 Trillion or 2 Trillion over a decade is completely meaningless. If this is to be done, it needs to be in the trillion/year range.

It appears the Tea Party is, unfortunately, all talk and no walk.

The Obama administration's deficit reduction program, if approved, will allow debt collectors to call cell phones of debtors with delinquent federally-backed loans. These debts contain back taxes, most mortgages and government school loans. Currently, debt collectors are only permitted to call landline home telephones.
