Obama to change birth control rule

Quote from Hombre:

If the candidate promises to repeal Wade/Roe and made abortion illegal, then it is about the right to birth control and equally so about keeping the government out of our private lives .

that is a different issue - this is more akin to the govt telling a church or a business it must kill the unborn as part of its health care coverage.

I can tell you this... they will also be a ton of small business owners who will voting against the democrats on this.

Where are the true liberals... supporting the idea we should be protected from govt.

Quote from Hombre:

You are right. it will never be over.

it is obvious that it is the time that some republican candidate says sound "fuck you" to the religious right and endorses the right to choose abortion as an alternative to unwanted pregnancy.
This stupid pandering to dark age religion groups costs the republicans lot of votes.

It is about religious freedom, but not in the way the bishops are framing it. The plan applies to institutions that are affiliated with the church but employ anyone: a hospital is not going to not hire a doctor, for instance, because he's a Hindu instead of a Catholic.
Which gets to the steaming smelly center of this turd:

Maureen Mollineaux, who has attended St. Juliana's for years and regards herself as a practicing Catholic, says that, "I was using birth control when I was of childbearing age. I understand the party line, but I don't know anybody in my generation that wasn't doing exactly as I was. I understand that they have to do this - follow the party line - but it's absurd.

"It's not as if this is the Catholic church's biggest problem. I'm surprised the President caved. It seemed like a good compromise to me. Look, all kinds of people work in facilities run by the Catholic church - nursing homes, schools, hospitals. Should those people who work there but who aren't Catholics be held to the same standards as Catholics? They're Americans first."

Now how about YOU answer the question. When did you last take your meds?

this is a pitiful performance by any measure.

That says it all. But let's also hold on to the Dark Ages reference, just for good measure.

After reviewing your post history I decided it was too big a word for you to follow.
So I simplified it, is 10 too high a number for you. I figured between both hands...

Better than being a male nurse with an over sized ego and self delusions of grandeur.

Unlikely. I have many many more options than you do.

Also I do not have the gender identity issues that you have, I know I cannot catch, "the gay":D

Delusions of grandeur? Well my best days did not end when I got out of high school, so I am not sure about what you consider delusional, if you truly know what that means, anyway.:)
