Obama tells blacks to 'stop complainin' and fight

Quote from Lucrum:

So a doctor fresh out of med school is ready to perform brain surgery?

You're in essence saying that's the same as a nurse graduating and sticking a thermometer up someones butt unsupervised the next day

Confusion, as usual.

If you are going to be a surgeon, then you declare that at the start of medical school, and when you are done with your residency, then you will be able to perform brain surgery.

look up the book, Gifted Hands. It is about a black man, so try not have an MI.

Quote from RCG Trader:

... Yes, being an RN is far far more complex than flying an airborne taxi.

NO dumb ass it's NOT. Never has been never will be.

Quote from Maverick74:

Ron, again, you keep harping on this license issue. Let me ask you a question. Would you fly a commercial airliner where all the pilots "just got a license"? Just answer me that one question. It's a new airline called Fast Jet and they are offering really low airfares. The only catch is all the pilots where hired as soon as they got their license irregardless of any other qualifications. Would you fly that airline?

The problem is Mav, is that I don't know when I get on that plane anything about the pilot, which is why I absolutely HATE to fly

Residency is the equivalent of the thousands of hours of experience a professional pilot needs to acquire AFTER he gets his license.

Get it now?

Good thing for you sick people don't feel the same way about she/male nurses.

Prollem is that Residents are declared Residents. They wear different colored jackets. They are NOT surgeons. In aviation, you are a pilot, and no one knows the difference.

Easy, because when WE get the license, there is no learning curve, it is built in. Otherwise, we could not say, I am an RN, or an MD, or PT, or ST, or OT. We hatch ready to run. We don't need "hours"

Very poor attempt at spin

Proves my point actually, you don't need experience to be hired as a nurse only some cursory training.
