Obama Talks, Market Tanks

Quote from Max E. Pad:

I think that i may have warranted the "Rack" based on my stupidity as it pertained to Obama. (thought you would like this one based on your love affair with midieval weaponry) :D

The rack is good, but since the "offending" member of your body was your brain I think the head crusher would be more appropriate in your case. :D

I remember the first time I heard Obama speak. I thought, where's the tent? The guy should have a fucking tent.

At any rate: Obama Talks, Market Tanks reminds me of when he campaigns for other Dems in the mid term elections and they lost. Mister midas -the golden touch, everything turns into mufflers.

Pffftt Doesnt even look that painful, i could probably do it a couple times then go home none the worse for ware..... it kind of looks like the "tea cup" rides i just went on with my nieces at the local fair....

Here is a description:

With the head placed under the upper cap and the chin placed above the bottom bar, the top screw of this awful device was slowly turned, compressing the skull tightly. First the teeth are destroyed, shattering and splintering into the jaw. Then the eyes are squeezed from the sockets – some versions had special receptacles to catch them. Lastly, the skull fractures and the contents of the head are forced out. In earlier stages, the torturer could keep the head firmly clamped and strike the metal skull cap periodically; each blow echoing pain throughout the victim’s body.

Ok, you got me, i almost puked reading that description.....that is some of the most morbid shit i have ever read....

Though in fairness i also almost puked from spinning on the tea cups....

:D

I agree things don't look good for Obama. If the market were to go down into 2012, things would look even bleaker for him.

The above will make Republican loss in 2012 so much more embarrassing.

***p.s. i will give you a hint: NVC

any guesses on my riddle?

Quote from 377OHMS:

Bravo pspr! Bravo!

I can only dream of my vote making any difference. Great job!
Thank you, OHMS. It's a great feeling knowing your vote in a national election really counted.

Quote from Max E. Pad:

It is unfortunate that history books do not reflect reality, you and the other 300 who voted against Gore, may very well have been the 300 people who saved America..... for a few years anyways till Obama got started......:D

You guys should have a monument in washington. :D

I guess everyone of the thousands who voted for Bush in Florida can call themselves one of the 300. It feels personal, though, when you think that it would have taken less than 200 voters to flip to have given that election to Gore.

ever thought that 2008 financial crisis might not have happened if Gore had been elected?

we would probably have been in a different kind of a mess with Gore. who knows what would have happened. but why do you guys think that mess would have been worse? just because you are hard core Republicans?

Nope. It was precipitated by the liberals and government wanting to make sure everyone who couldn't afford a house could own one. Although Bush helped cause that disaster, Gore would have made it bigger and much worse. (Bush did warn Congress about the over extending of credit that was happening but was ignored and even mocked by some in Congress)

I do remember wanting to drive over and grab some of these people by the neck and shake some sense into them. Hanging chad my a$$.
