Obama should resign and Trump should be sworn in as President immediately

I agree elections are a farce but at least the people feel better going through the motions of an election. I am voting third party as I do every election. I know it is pointless but at least I can cast my vote against the two party system we have now.

As a voter with principles, I voted for Ross Perot... then Ron Paul. Eventually, I came to the reality that those votes, while well intentioned, were like "pissn' into the wind".

Suggest that you, like I, hold your nose and vote Republican. Not because the Repubs are any more than a smidge less bad than the DemoCraps... but because Leftism in America must be stopped* if at all possible. Otherwise, we are doomed.

*even if not stopped, "slowed down" for a term or two would be a benefit of your vote

:(

Democrats are bad for America.
Republicans are equally bad.
Therefore vote republican?

i was kidding on a weekend rant on an idiotic thread...when since the beginning of time has the media ever told the truth and politcians were honest? That shouldn't be any reason to stop doing anything...but like you I piss in the wind and vote straight libertarian (not that they are any better) just to let them know I am still out here, and feel it preserves my right to bitch about the government...but this year, I don't know, this government aint even worth bitching about anymore.

No, that pos Assad.

Ah, because it was a picture of Putin.

Regarding Assad, there was a lot of evidence presented by sources outside the US consortium that showed Assad never did gas anyone, and that it was actually a rebel group that tried to create a false flag event.

Of course, this is coming from the lunatic who knows nearly nothing about their home country of Canada -- even to the point of denying that Canada public medicine has long wait times, many Canadians go to the U.S. for medical care, and private medical clinics are widespread in Canada & used by the middle class. Of course nine_ender denies obvious truths while slandering those who bring them up - while living in a personal world devoid of reality.

Private medical clinics are not widespread in Canada and are rarely used by the middle class. The level of delusion that you carry in thinking you can teach me something about this is off the charts. And mark my words, my reality is much clearer then yours, I don't have to commute out of country to live a life in office buildings chasing money like you do. That is an artificial existence.

I do understand that a sociopath like you that puts money ahead of family and community will see things differently then I do.

Fertility clinics, physiotherapy clinics, chiropractic clinics and hormonal clinics are common in Canada. I would imagine a great many Canadians use them since they're so common. I do.

What other "private clinics" exist out there not covered by Ohip? Optometrists and dental offices. Tonnes of these around too. Many Canadians like me have to pay for these services out of pocket because we don't work for a company that has a full benefit plan. So these private for profit medical clinics are quite popular as well . And yes, the middle and lower class makes huge use of these clinics. I think my step mom just spent 15k on more crowns. Out of pocket.

Not at all what we were talking about. If you want to discuss the scope of services that OHIP pays for, then do so, in reference to what public health plans in the US pay for.

Would you really opt out of OHIP yourself and take on an American style plan ? Seriously now, let's get real here. GWB_Trading was suggesting that he knows people who opt out of using OHIP and go to expensive clinics and pay for services there out of pocket. Sure, rich people or those with nice company sponsored premium plans might do that, but not middle class Canadians. And any Canadian can do that if they want to spend a lot of money. There just aren't many who do, and no point in doing so except in exceptional circumstances. Those with a lot of money, well, they can spend as they wish in either country.
