IF in fact he did go AWOL, I agree. He should have been prosecuted. And if convicted, never run for POTUS.
But he wasn't, so he did run.
Other than the potential "hypocrisy issue" you mentioned I still don't see what this has to do with BO's potential ineligibility for POTUS.

WHY? I mean if he's got nothing to hide, why does he continue acting guilty? IF he has a legitimate long form BC, why spend $2,000,000 in an effort not to show it? Wouldn't common sense dictate he simply show it, shut up the doubters AND keep the $2M in his pocket?

Why would his own family members publicly say he was born in Kenya if he wasn't? Why would a representative of the Kenyan government mention a shrine, where Obama was born, IN KENYA only to claim later he was misquoted or misunderstood?
I heard a recording of that Kenyan official's comment. There was no misunderstanding.
I'm no lawyer but there sure seems like enough evidence for an indictment to me.
