Obama Rips Cheney!

President Obama, rejecting former Vice President Dick Cheney's contention that Obama has put the nation at greater risk of terrorism, suggests in an interview on "60 Minutes" that the previous administration's stance was an "advertisement for anti-American sentiment."

"How many terrorists have actually been brought to justice under the philosophy that is being promoted by Vice President Cheney?" Obama asks. "It hasn't made us safer. What it has been is a great advertisement for anti-American sentiment."

Right....Maybe Obama can answer why, what with all the anti-American sentiment Cheney and Bush whipped up, we weren't attacked again after 9/11?

Oops, I forgot - everyone knows terrorists cannot multitask! Can't wave a burning effigy of Bush and try to attack us again at the same time! My bad! And, of course, the Islamofascists didn't hate us and want to destroy us until Bush and Cheney created all this anti-American sentiment whereas before we were just loved by bin Laden and Co.

The Cheney philosophy was that Gitmo POW's are combatants not ever to be brought to justice.

Only time will tell how 'safe' we are under Obama.

One thing that can't be argued, is that there were no more attacks against us following 9/11.

And if we are attacked again under Obama, you can count on the left blaming Bush and Cheney.
