Quote from swtrader:

my first post, pin head, was that he'd preaching fiscal restraint, while tossing around 1/2 trillions like they were boxes of free cheese

right move or not, it's the contradiction that strains his credibility i was talking about

.......had you bothered to read it

ummmmmm, govt shutdown was in 1995, bush sr wasnt in the picture

1990. Dem-Congress tried to shrink the deficit by raising taxes (and spending), Bush the Elder vetoed, three day shutdown but it landed on a weekend so impact not so widespread.

Given your horrible reading comprehension, I doubt that you were able to fully understand what Obama said in his press conference this morning.

Obama was merely pointing to those ridiculous farm subsidies that our government continues to hand-out . . . when speaking about budgetary items that require fiscal restraint.

But leave it to swtrader to miss out on the Big Picture.
:p

If that's the case, Bush should have been impeached.

Quote from swtrader:

actually, the general didnt say that last night on prison break

and no, i dont think our reality is exactly like 'the company' on 'prison break'

but i do think it's as close to reality as what our government portrays itself to be, perhaps much closer

whether mccain or obama won, there might have been some cultural 'optional' agendas, bones to toss to their own groupies

but the 'mandatory' agenda or the ruling elite would have been identical - in truth, there's no difference between them - there was no choice in 2008

and both mccain and obama know it

I do not talk politics!, I will however, talk economics

but anyone that actually watch(es) Prison Break and The Unit,

is all right with me!
