She didn't really cave on this. Hillary Clinton, a white woman, got Susan Rice, a black woman, to make the Sunday morning new rounds and lie about the events that lead to the attack. Of course this is when Rice was given bad information and said the attack was caused by the video. It turned out that Susan Rice, a black woman, was set out to lie and be a scapegoat for Hillary Clinton, a white woman.
Obama's manufactured stories that were designed to vilify Qadaffi and support the rebels in Libya turned out to be a pack of lies and are the root cause of what happened in Benghazi.
The attempt to cover it all up are what led to the night in Benghazi and the current attempts to squelch any investigation.
In short, Obama made up a pack of horse manure to back Libya's rebels and everything that happened afterwards is the result.
