Obama Plays The Victim: 'I've Been Burned' By ObamaCare website

Once again obama shows he sees himself the victim of circumstance rather than the person responsible for his administrations repeated failure. Its also interesting to note he sees himself as the biggest victim from the obamacare fiasco not the millions of people who cant get insurance because of him.

Yeah, he caught and corrected himself. Too late. When the chips were down, President Obama didn't step up and truly take responsibility for the disastrous rollout of Obamacare. Instead of acting like a leader and the President of the United States, Barack Obama's first impulse was to cast himself as the victim.

In an interview with NBC Political Director Chuck Todd aired on this evening's NBC Nightly News, President Obama said that "I've been burned by a website." View the video after the jump.

This is the exact mindset of most blacks in the United States.

Always a victim and a complete lack of responsibility.

BTW Obama- the issue isn't the broken website, it's the shitty expensive insurance scam you've forced on our country.

An official in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid was pushed out of his job because he refused to sign off on the Obamacare website, citing website’s obvious security holes. The story doesn’t end there, however, his boss did sign off on the website, over his head, and now it appears she may have violated Federal regulation in doing so.

from CBS:

Tony Trenkle, the Obamacare official in charge of HealthCare.gov security efforts announced his resignation Wednesday, effective next week.

CBS News has learned that Trenkle, the Chief Information Officer for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), was originally supposed to sign off on security for the glitch-ridden website before its Oct. 1 launch, but didn’t. Instead, the authorization on September 27 was given by Trenkle’s boss, CMS administrator Marilyn Tavenner.

As CBS News reported Monday, security assessments fell behind and the website never had the required top-to-bottom tests.

Trenkle and two other CMS officials, including Chief Operating Officer Michelle Snyder, signed an unusual “risk acknowledgement” saying that the agency’s mitigation plan for rigorous monitoring and ongoing tests did “not reduce the (security) risk to the … system itself going into operation on October 1, 2013.”...

So, after he refused to sign off on the website (something Federal regulations require for all government websites), CMS head Marilyn Tavenner signed off on it anyway, knowing the security risks involved.

from Washington Examiner:

During her testimony Wednesday before the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius said that healthcare.gov is operating under a “temporary” order certifying that it met stringent security standards even as testing continues.

But that would appear to contradict guidance issued by the White House Office of Management and Budget last year by none other than Jeff Zients — the former acting director of OMB, who more recently was brought in to oversee the “tech surge” to fix problems facing Obamacare’s implementation.

In a Sept. 27, 2012, memo addressed to the heads of executive departments and agencies, Zients said that OMB did not recognize “interim” authorizations...

The bottom line here is that the Obama administration is still knowingly operating the Obamacare insurance exchange website without the required end-to-end security testing, and they’re breaking their own regulations in order to do it.

I foresee another tense day on Capitol Hill for Marilyn Tavenner and Kathleen Sebelius, and I doubt there’s anyway they can get away from this without more heads rolling at CMS and HHS.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being flawless design and execution, and 1 being abject failure on all fronts...drum roll please, we have a 1. Is anyone other than Obama surprised by this?

This is unbelievable incompetence if something like this happened in the private sector not only would heads roll, wed be talking about jail time.

The "tragedy of it all"... is that HE was burned by the failed online roll out.

How could such a narcissist get elected as prez?

"Obama Plays The Victim: 'I've Been Burned' By ObamaCare website"

Obama thinks he has been burned by the Obamacare website - just wait till he talks to people who actual have to use it to get over-priced insurance policies.

Seriously, when has a liberal ever accepted responsibility for a disaster they authored? It's always someone else's fault.

Next they will be accusing republicans of trying to "exploit" it and "politicizing" it, instead of working together to help the people.

Quote from Clubber Lang:

Answer- 98% of blacks "voted for the black guy"

That plus Hispanics' vote for "immigration reform" virtually seals the election regardless of others.

Don't we see what's wrong with that?

Was it Lenin?... "Democracy is the basis of Communism"... that is, when the majority get to vote for "equality", that's cornerstone of Communism.
