Obama pays price for thinking Bush was a dunce

Quote from Lucrum:

PAUL McCARTNEY ??

Well why didn't you say so earlier? Hell that changes everything.

Everyone knows foreign elderly rock stars are the undisputed experts on...well...pretty much everything.

I appreciate it when an entertainer-type reveals his Liberal soul. It saves me money. Once I hear where they stand, I make it a point to never again buy their music, go to their concert, pay to see their movies or support them directly or indirectly in any way.

I'm sure Sir Paul is somewhere crying his eyes out

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

I'm guessing McCartney pays more US income tax than you ever have...so as a taxpayer, does he have the right to make political comments?

Absolutely, BUT it does NOT necessarily mean he knows what he's talking about.

Quote from ..........:

Yeah I know,to Republicans he is an individual who hasn't accomplished much
I never said he hadn't accomplished anything. I mean look at all the drugs he's done AND survived. Now THAT is an accomplishment.

Same could be said for George Bush

Same could be said for George Bush
Long before the national media spotlight began to shine on every twist and turn of his life's journey, Barack Obama had this to say about himself: "Junkie. Pothead. That's where I'd been headed: the final, fatal role of the young would-be black man. . . . I got high [to] push questions of who I was out of my mind."
In the book, Obama acknowledges that he used cocaine but rejected heroin. "Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though," he says.

Words of a President.....

Quote from Gabfly1:

No, you simply prefer your broad brush when it suits your purpose. As I said, your "bad" is that you did not even take the time to absorb the point of my earlier post. Apples and oranges are both fruit, right? So they must be the same, right?

Read it again for the first time (color-coded for your convenience):

Oh, I got your "specific" references. My point is you choose the "specific" references that make Bush look bad, and Obama look good for your argument's sake. I understand, many folks who can't see past their own morality are like this.

Regardless, there's no way to have any meaningful debate with someone such as yourself (and I am open to other folk's opinions, so long as they project themselves in a way that they are permeable to thoughts outside their own). So go ahead, have the last word. I know you're frothing over it anyway.

Yep, this president transmits this message to children:

1) Your grades don't matter because you need not disclose them.

2) Its ok to use and deal hard drugs.

3) It is not necessary to respect the laws of the United States.

1.Graduate from Columbia and Harvard law magna cum laude in the top 16 % of your class and being President of the Law Review is more then enough disclosure

2.Bush showed it was ok to be a drunk and coke head

3.Torture is a law of the United States as well as drunk driving, being awol from military service, securities fraud etc
