Obama on the Wrong Side of History Again

How many times can this dude be wrong with these racial cases? I thought Obama was supposed to usher in post-racial America. All he has done is race hustle and he has been wrong every time.

We had the Cambridge Police, the Travon Martin case, the Mike Brown case, the dude in New York, and now he blew it on the Freddy Gray case. This guy is always wrong. You know he must be fuming.

This is what happens when you attempt to impose a racial component where there isn't one. More often than not, much more often than not, these incidents are about thugs getting themselves killed by violently resisting arrest, and in a very, very, very few cases, poorly trained cops overreacting. In all cases you then have PC motivated politicians and prosecutors trying to appease the angry mob.

Meanwhile, Freddie Gray didn't do anything, was arrested with undue force and died while in police custody. While I'm confident that the majority of cops are good people, there is no denying that the law is not enforced evenly across the board.

In any event, the case isn't over. The acquitted cop is only one of a number of police officers involved, and he was tangential in the incident.

Gray was a known drug dealer. Cops spotted him and another guy, made eye contact and the two took off. Obviously they were dealing. Gray was run down and arrested. We don't know how much he resisted before the cameras were rolling. Once the cameras were rolling he appeared to be in distress. He also has a history of playing that game as well.
Where the prosecutions case falls apart is where they claim he was arrested and detained for no reason. That is simply not the case and is being proven in court.
Here's the "good boy" arrest record.

His arrest record includes at least 18 arrests:

  • March 20, 2015: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
  • March 13, 2015: Malicious destruction of property, second-degree assault
  • January 20, 2015: Fourth-degree burglary, trespassing
  • January 14, 2015: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute
  • December 31, 2014: Possession of narcotics with intent to distribute
  • December 14, 2014: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance
  • August 31, 2014: Illegal gambling, trespassing
  • January 25, 2014: Possession of marijuana
  • September 28, 2013: Distribution of narcotics, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, second-degree assault, second-degree escape
  • April 13, 2012: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, violation of probation
  • July 16, 2008: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute
  • March 28, 2008: Unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance
  • March 14, 2008: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to manufacture and distribute
  • February 11, 2008: Unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance
  • August 29, 2007: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, violation of probation
  • August 28, 2007: Possession of marijuana
  • August 23, 2007: False statement to a peace officer, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance
  • July 16, 2007: Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance (2 counts)

Bottom line, Gray was a drug dealing thug and the Baltimore community is safer without him on the streets, and it's highly likely that his actions in the back of that van caused his own demise.
