Im not exactly sure what my thoughts are about this, how can one look at this as a way to profit on trading financials that day?

wonder if this meeting will bring negative news? and will be a short play?

At best you have a 50/50 shot of being correct - How lucky do you feel?

Otherwise trade it - like a trader
